During British Science Week this March you can get your classroom buzzing about science by taking part in I’m a Scientist. Your students will be able to ask questions to, have live text-based chats with, and vote for real scientists over two weeks from the 9th–20th March.
Choose your zones by Wednesday 14th January
Everything happens online on the I’m a Scientist website, so your students can take part right from your classroom. The event is simple to organise as all the materials needed are provided, including suggested lesson plans.
Students see that scientists are normal people while being introduced to a wide range of research and careers; it’s not all white coats and safety specs.
Take a look at the I’m a Scientist video to find out more about how the event works.
Let us know your choices by Wednesday 14th January. We’ll be in touch after that to let you know which zone your students are in.
There’s everything from Genes and the Immune System, to Particle Physics and Light. There are also General Science Zones for primary and secondary schools
